Halifax partner John Rogers, QC, ICD.D, elected board of governors chair of Acadia University
John Rogers, QC, ICD.D, has been elected as chair of the board of governors of Acadia University, at a recent full board meeting. The senior governing body of one of Canada’s outstanding primarily undergraduate universities, the Acadia board of governors is made up of 37 members who provide their time and expertise to ensure that the best interests of the university are served and that Acadia’s reputation of high academic excellence is maintained.
John has been on this board since 2009 and served as officer and secretary from 2014 up until recently. He joins the ranks of other firm partners who are, or have recently been, board chairs of Dalhousie University, Mount Allison University, Mount Saint Vincent University and Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
