Jacob Zelman is a solutions-focused litigator in the firm’s Labour & Employment group, advising employers, insurers, professionals, and educational institutions on a broad range of workplace and regulatory matters. Jacob’s practice spans the full spectrum of labour and employment law, as well as health care law, allowing him to support clients across a wide variety of complex and sensitive situations.
Jacob regularly advises on matters including workplace accommodation requests, performance management and discipline, grievances, and termination, severance, and wrongful and constructive dismissal claims. Jacob also represents clients in civil litigation – acting for plaintiffs, defendants, and third parties – as well as in human rights proceedings and professional disciplinary matters.
In addition to his advocacy work, Jacob works closely with clients to develop practical strategies, providing day-to-day guidance on the evolving challenges of the modern workplace.
