Easy and Secure Online Credit Card Payments

We are pleased to offer a secure and convenient way to pay your invoice online using your credit card. We have partnered with LawPay, a leader in legal billing and payment software, which offers an online portal with superior data protection and security to keep your sensitive information safe.

You can make payments using a VISA, Mastercard or AMEX. Please have your Invoice Number and Client code ready and visit the following link to take you to LawPay’s secure online payment portal: Pay My Invoice

Online Banking Payment

Please forward the Remittance Page included with your invoice to receivables@stewartmckelvey.com.

If you have an account with any major Canadian bank, log into your online account and search for ‘Stewart McKelvey’ using your bank’s Bill Payee functionality. Your SM Client number, found below the Invoice number on your invoice, should be used as your account number when setting Stewart McKelvey up as a payee.

Frequently Asked Questions:

• Where do I find my client code and invoice number? Icon plus

  On the top right corner of the first page of your invoice or on the remittance page (third to last page of the invoice).

  

  For online banking payments:

  • If prompted to input an 8-digit code, use the client code “SM” and the six digits that follow. (e.g. SM123456)
  • If prompted to input a 13-digit code, use the client code “SM” and the eleven digits that follow (e.g. SM12345600001)

• What payments can I make using the online credit card payment portal? Icon plus

  All invoice payments of any amounts can be paid. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept non-invoice payments such as retainers or trust payments by credit card.

• Do you accept E-transfer payment? Icon plus

  At this time, we are unable to accept email money transfers, or e-transfers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
