John works primarily on the management side to assist both public and private-sector employers in labour, employment and human rights matters. His clients operate in various industries throughout Atlantic Canada, such as manufacturing, trucking, construction and post-secondary institutes. John has been asked to:
- Respond to human rights complaints on behalf of employers.
- Assist in defending employers in wrongful dismissal actions and grievance arbitrations.
- Assist in preparing responses to certification applications.
- Conduct document review for public sector organizations regarding disclosure requirements under Right to Information legislation.
