David Henley testifies before fisheries & oceans parliamentary standing committee
On behalf of the Canadian Maritime Law Association, Halifax partner David Henley testified as a witness before the parliamentary standing committee on fisheries and oceans, Tuesday, March 24 in Ottawa, with respect to amendments currently before Parliament to implement the Port State Measures agreement into the Coastal Fisheries Protection Act. These amendments are primarily aimed at enhancing the ability of port states to combat global issues with illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.
