Charles LeBlond, QC, appointed to the New Brunswick Court of Appeal/Cour d’appel du Nouveau-Brunswick
As announced earlier today by the Honourable David Lametti, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, Moncton partner Charles LeBlond, QC, has been appointed to be a justice of the New Brunswick Court of Appeal/Cour d’appel du Nouveau-Brunswick.
Called to the New Brunswick bar in 1983, Charles was a leading member of the insurance defence bar, a commercial litigator and a regular conference presenter on litigation topics. He has been consistently cited as a best lawyer in the areas of insurance, corporate commercial litigation, health care and construction law. He received his Queen’s Counsel designation in 1999, and in 2009, was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
