Beginning at 12:00 p.m. AST today, Sheree Conlon will be co-presenting the Canadian Bar Association Nova Scotia online continuing legal education (“CLE”), Future Loss of Income Claims.

In addition to discussing common challenges in valuing loss of income claims, Sheree will discuss whether or not Canada Pension Plan (“CPP”) benefits are deductible from loss of income in tort and SEF 44 claims. She will outline the effect of tort reform on the collateral benefits rule, before reviewing trial decisions that present conflicting views on whether this rule applies to CPP.
