His practice focuses primarily on corporate and commercial work such as mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, contract drafting, corporate structure reorganization, and financing. He also regularly advises clients with respect to corporate governance, shareholder dispute prevention and resolution, as well as legal liability exposure deriving from the course of business.

Rémy has contributed to important legal work since joining Stewart McKelvey, notably by assisting with:

• drafting ancillary documents in a share transaction worth over $32,000,000.
• performing due diligence searches and reports for a large out-of-province corporation acquiring over $30,000,000 in assets from a New Brunswick corporation.
• drafting, in both official languages, of a contract outlining the terms of a province-wide professional services agreement involving a large not-for-profit organization and a professional union comprised of over 2000 members.
• drafting by-laws following major changes in the legislative framework governing a client’s industry.
