Clarence Bennett, Managing Partner, Saint John, appointed King’s Counsel
Managing Partner of our Saint John office, Clarence Bennett, has been appointed King’s Counsel, as announced by Lt.-Gov. Brenda Murphy earlier this week. This prestigious honour is given to those who have demonstrated outstanding practice, shown integrity and leadership, and made contributions to excellence in the profession.
With degrees from St. Thomas University, the University of New Brunswick and Osgoode Hall Law School, Clarence has been called to the bar in New Brunswick (2005) and Ontario (2022). He is a management-side labour, employment and human rights lawyer, workplace investigator and mediator, who works with a broad variety of clients spanning both public and private sectors. Clarence became Managing Partner of the Saint John office in 2016, and is committed to the growth of our Firm, its people and his community.
He sits on the Board of Directors of the Fundy Civic Centre and Ronald McDonald House Charities (Atlantic). Previously, Clarence served as the Managing Partner of our Fredericton office, as leader of the Stewart McKelvey Labour & Employment Practice Group, and sat on the board of directors of the Fredericton Non-Profit Housing Corporation.
We congratulate Clarence on this significant achievement.
