Charlottetown associate Michael Fleischmann discusses relationship between marijuana legalization & insurance law

During the Canadian Independent Adjuster’s Association/Canadian Insurance Claims Managers Association joint conference, associate Michael Fleischmann will shed some light on how marijuana legalization will affect insurance law. His session, beginning at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, will outline the challenges with defining “impairment” related to marijuana consumption, as well as the insurance coverage and liability implications for policies addressing home-sharing, auto and homeowners.
