Jonathan Coady, QC, recognized as a Rising Star
Charlottetown partner Jonathan Coady, QC, has been selected as a Lexpert® Rising Star – a national award celebrating leading lawyers in Canada under the age of 40.
Called to the bar in 2007, Jonathan practices litigation primarily in the area of public law. He was recently named by Best Lawyers® as the “Lawyer of the Year” in Charlottetown for Administrative and Public Law. In 2019, Jonathan also received the Queen’s Counsel designation, recognizing his commitment to the legal profession in Prince Edward Island.
In addition to his busy practice, Jonathan is also actively involved in his community. He is a member of the national board of directors of the Canadian Bar Association, an advocacy advisor for the Supreme Court Advocacy Institute and an instructor at the Prince Edward Island Bar Admission Course. Jonathan is also a lecturer at the University of Prince Edward Island in the Department of Political Science.
