Within St. John’s: Big-city practice, small town lifestyle, Neil states, “Newfoundland and Labrador has gone from a have-not province to a have province. That changes the whole dynamic within the country.” The growing oil industry has resulted in a shift in the kind of work being done within Newfoundland and Labrador and Neil explains that law offices are now getting the experience with bigger clients and larger-value deals that could only be found previously in larger cities and economies.
