Gerald McMackin, QC, to be honoured by Greater Saint John Community Foundation

At the 40th anniversary gala of the Greater Saint John Community Foundation, today, October 27, partner Gerry McMackin will be honoured for his many years of dedication and support to this organization. There will also be an endowment fund named for him, which the foundation can use to benefit charities in the greater Saint John area.

Gerry has been involved with the Greater Saint John Community Foundation for more than 25 years, serving as its secretary, vice president and director for 11 years. From 2002 to 2010 he served as director of the Communities Foundation of Canada. For his involvement with this, as well as other community services, Gerry is the recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal and the Paul Harris Fellowship Award.
