Erin Best and Justin Hewitt discuss the new legal landscape for municipalities at upcoming conference
St. John’s lawyers Erin Best and Justin Hewitt will be presenting a session at the Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador 2021 annual conference, trade show and annual general meeting, November 4. Erin and Justin both have experience assisting various municipalities and companies in a number of different legal areas, and will answer one of the most important questions facing municipalities today: what makes a policy decision? They will also provide an overview of new Supreme Court of Canada decisions, and the Municipal Code of Conduct, before offering their insights regarding expropriation, subdivision agreements and conflicts of interest.
Stewart McKelvey is pleased to be a luncheon sponsor of this event.
