John McFarlane, QC, recognized for 50 years practicing
Halifax partner John McFarlane, QC, has been presented with a certificate of achievement by the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society to celebrate his five decades in law. John began his career at the Firm in 1968, and has assisted clients since his 1970 bar call in a number of areas, including banking and finance, real property, education and commercial transactions/agreements. He received his Queen’s Counsel designation in 1986, and has been listed by Best Lawyers and Lexpert as a leader in insolvency and financial restructuring, corporate law, banking and finance and property development.
