James’ practice focuses primarily on insurance defense and commercial litigation, with a particular interest in class actions and professional liability litigation. He has assisted a range of clients including individuals and corporations, both large and small.
James’ experience includes:
- Assisting a state-owned enterprise in an international commercial arbitration by conducting extensive research and assisting with the preparation of submissions.
- Representing a professional liability insurer in the defence of an insurance broker; Assisting with research and drafting written submissions.
- Assisting a large corporation with a legal dispute involving a commercial wind farm operation by conducting legal research into various issues.
- Assisting various Insurance clients by participating in discoveries, conducting extensive document review, and preparing chronologies and reports.
- Assisting a corporation in a contractual commercial dispute by conducting research and drafting written submissions.
