Within her growing labour and employment practice, Katharine takes the time to carefully understand the specific needs and goals of her clients in order to find a solution that works for them. Katharine works closely with non-union and unionized employers of all sizes to provide advocacy services and advice on a diverse range of workplace issues. Her experience includes the following:
- Drafting and reviewing employment and contractor agreements, workplace policies and procedures
- Advising and defending employers with respect to disability accommodations and human rights complaints
- Advising and defending employers in wrongful dismissal actions and grievance arbitrations
