Meghan’s labour and employment practice covers the full arc of the employment relationship. Meghan regularly advises employers of all sizes on hiring practices, employment contracts, and terminations and everything in between. She represents employers before the Labour Relations Board, Labour Arbitrators, Human Rights tribunals, and the courts. She has particular experience with helping employers navigate collective bargaining negotiations.
Meghan also practices in the areas of privacy and health law. She acts for healthcare organizations in the defence of malpractice and privacy claims, including privacy class actions. She also represents a broad range of organizations in navigating privacy concerns, including proactive advice and privacy response.
Meghan is committed to delivering clear and timely counsel, whether she is guiding a small business through an employment issue or supporting a large organization through complex litigation. She brings a thorough understanding of the legal environment and works closely with clients to manage legal risk and respond decisively disputes when arise. Meghan’s experience includes:
