The role of a University Board in privacy & cybersecurity
Halifax partner and chair of the Dalhousie University board of governors Lawrence Stordy, QC, will speak at a panel later today at the 32nd annual Canadian University Boards Association (“CUBA”) conference. Larry will be joined by speakers from the University of Victoria and Polytechnique Montreal, as well as a privacy consultant and former British Columbia Information and Privacy Commissioner, to discuss what role a University Board plays in times of privacy and cybersecurity crises.
As chair of the CUBA Board of Directors, Larry also provided the welcome remarks to conference attendees this morning in Victoria, British Columbia.
