Lisa Gallivan & Mark Tector speak at Occupational Health & Safety course
Dalhousie University College of Continuing Education is hosting an Occupational Health and Safety (“OH&S”) Law and Regulations coursewhich will feature Lisa Gallivan as an instructor and Mark Tector as a guest lecturer.
This four-day course, May 9 – 12, will review such topics as the OH&S legislation and the definitions found within it, as well as the different aspects of this law and the role of the appeal process. Lisa will teach a range of participants including health and safety professionals, employers and managers, as well as labour representatives. Mark will be a guest lecturer on Thursday, May 12 beginning at 8:30 a.m., where he will discuss strategy, due diligence and case law when defending the accused.
