Latest updates to trust and estate law, presented by Richard Niedermayer, TEP
The 20th national conference of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP”) Canada will feature Halifax partner Richard Niedermayer, TEP, as a speaker during two sessions, Monday, May 28. Stewart McKelvey is proud to sponsor this event.
Beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Toronto, Richard will be joined by another industry leader to discuss the most recent and relevant common-law and civil-law jurisdiction cases for trusts and estates. Later in the day, Richard will moderate a panel at 3:45 p.m., which will review unique estate-planning and administration issues. Richard will discuss dynastic/perpetual trusts and other panelists will speak on a variety of issues that are being seen more frequently throughout Canada, such as trust protectors, pour-over wills and digital assets.
