Jennifer Taylor & Leah Grimmer discussing motions for assessment of damages at Insurance Law section meeting

Halifax research lawyer Jennifer Taylor and associate Leah Grimmer will be co-presenting at the Canadian Bar Association Nova Scotia branch Insurance Law section meeting beginning at 12:00 p.m. today.

This session will review the case of MacKean v Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada, 2015 NSCA 33 addressing the proper standard of proof when a motor vehicle insurer brings a motion to have damages assessed following a Section D settlement.
