Halifax partner Richard Niedermayer, TEP, speaking at Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners conference
Richard Niedermayer, TEP, will co-present a session at the upcoming Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners national conference, Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19 in Toronto.
Richard will be joined by two trusts and estate practitioners on Friday beginning at 1:45 p.m., to discuss whether estate planning ends with incapacity and the degree to which a third party can take over this task for an incapable individual in Canada. The three presenters will weigh the benefits and risks of various instruments and planning tools, as well as review the law and law reform reports in other jurisdictions to understand future developments within Canadian law.
