Halifax Partner Grant Machum, ICD.D, appointed Chair of the Board of Governors of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia

We are pleased to share that Halifax Partner Grant Machum, ICD.D, has been appointed Chair of the Board of Governors of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. Grant has served on the Board since 2020 and most recently as Chair of the Capital Campaign Committee.

A longstanding contributor and supporter of regional and national arts & culture and community-based organizations, Grant has served on a number of Boards including Chair of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, Chair of Telefilm Canada, past board member of Symphony Nova Scotia, Atlantic Theatre Festival, Prescott Group and The George Hull Centre for Children and Families.

A member of the law societies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario, Grant is recognized nationally as a leader in employment law, corporate governance and sports liability. A member of the Firm’s Partnership Board, and Chair of the Human Resources and Governance Committee, Grant also serves on the Advisory Committee of the Queen’s University Faculty of Law, Centre for Law in the Contemporary Workplace. Grant is also a part time sailor.
