Charlottetown partner Jim Gormley, QC, recipient of Distinguished Service Award
Recognizing exceptional service by a member of the Canadian Bar Association Prince Edward Island branch (“CBA-PEI”), the 2016 Distinguished Service Award has gone to Jim Gormley, QC.
Nominations for this award, which was established in 1999, are reviewed by a nominations committee and based on the individual’s contribution to CBA-PEI, the legal profession, as well as the community as a whole. Jim has been recognized by many legal publications for his work in such industries as health care law, medical negligence and personal injury, and holds a Martindale-Hubbell rating for his high legal ability and ethical standards.
