Associate Leah Grimmer presents online CLE on the litigation of subrogated actions
Halifax lawyer Leah Grimmer co-presented the online continuing legal education (“CLE”) session, Carriage and Control of Litigation in Subrogated Actions, at 12:00 p.m. today.
Within this presentation, Leah reviewed the care and control of litigation in subrogated actions, as well as the substantive law. A recent Nova Scotia Supreme Court decision was discussed, with respect to judicial assessment of damages in subrogated personal injury claims, and some practical tips for handling subrogated claims were provided.
