Logan’s practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities law, commercial transactions, and corporate governance. Logan has worked with both public and private companies in the banking, energy, real estate, mining, grocery, and hospitality industries.

Logan’s experience includes:

  • Helping public companies meet their regulatory requirements by reviewing and preparing continuous disclosure documents and related filings as required under the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), Cboe Canada (Cboe), TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV), the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), and applicable securities law.
  • Assisting with public company acquisitions, including a $50 million acquisition of a large restaurant franchise.
  • Assisting with public company private placements, including a $200 million note offering.
  • Assisting with a private equity transaction involving a US$350 million cross-border investment.
  • Assisting with private company acquisitions of commercial properties and real estate.
  • Assisting private companies with corporate governance matters, including drafting shareholder agreements, maintaining corporate records, and preparing for annual general meetings.
