With years of mergers and acquisition experience, Larry has worked with companies of all sizes in every sector imaginable, both on the transaction side, but also as general counsel in support of the various day-to-day issues and challenges that face companies and their Boards and shareholders. Some examples of the services he has provided include:

  • Acting as lead counsel for the vendors of a large, independent optical company which carried on business in six provinces, including assistance in the preparation of the offering memorandum, negotiating with and ultimately closing the transaction with a public company.
  • Acting as lead counsel for the buyer of the largest home and office coffee service business in the United States with employees and assets in over 20 States.
  • Assisting a private company in a private/ public partnership that involved acquiring over 40 separate companies, amalgamating them into one entity and negotiating on their behalf with the government to provide contracted services.
  • Acting for the owners of a large family-owned business to transfer ownership from one generation to the next in a tax-efficient manner to maintain the family’s stake in the business and position the company for long-term success.
