Lyndsay’s general litigation practice consists of a variety of labour and employment, insurance, administrative and commercial matters. She is conscientious, detail-oriented and strives to understand the needs, objectives and goals of her clients, in order to create workable strategies and identify the right solutions.

Some of Lyndsay’s experience includes:

  • Assisting employers in ensuring compliance with local legislative requirements through the review of employment agreements and workplace policies.
  • Defending negligence claims against insurance advisors.
  • Acting in automobile insurance defense and personal injury matters for a wide range of clients.
  • Successfully negotiating commercial disputes, including contract claims and business disputes.
  • Successfully representing a bank in striking the Defendant’s Statement of Defence (Royal Bank of Canada v Normandeau, 2022 NBQB 46).
  • Successfully representing a client in an appeal regarding an entitlement to care allowance benefits under the Workers’ Compensation Act (Maillet v Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission, 2021 NBCA 49).
