Andrew routinely acts for business owners with respect to mergers and acquisitions, equity raises, debt financing, incorporation, succession planning, corporate restructuring as well as general corporate and commercial advice. He also advises not-for-profit organizations, such as charities, municipalities, colleges and universities with respect to governance matters and commercial transactions. In addition, Andrew acts for clients in connection with real property transactions, including commercial leasing, as well as wills and estates planning and administration.
Some of the ways Andrew has helped his clients include:
- Acting for a group of veterinarians in connection with a $10 million sale of several veterinary hospitals;
- Acting for a construction business in connection with a complex reorganization and creation of a stock option plan to retain key employees; and
- Negotiating a contract for the development and commercialization of specialized software on behalf of a large institutional client.
