Brianne is a senior associate who understands that legal disputes can be time-consuming and stressful. She is committed to making the process as smooth as possible by maintaining clear, consistent communication with her clients and delivering timely, effective legal services. Known for her attention to detail and broad legal experience, Brianne develops creative, tailored solutions to meet the needs of each client.

Brianne has appeared before the Small Claims Court and Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, as well as the Nova Scotia Energy Board (previously the Utility and Review Board). She has also acted as counsel in proceedings before the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.

Her practice includes:

  • Regulatory law, with a focus on electricity utility rate hearings, renewable energy, cost of service, efficiency programs, electricity tariffs, Renewable to Retail, and rate design.
  • Commercial litigation, including contract claims, leasing disputes, business disagreements, professional liability matters, and insured claims.
  • Insurance defence, representing commercial, property, and automobile insurers in personal injury, commercial, and coverage disputes.
  • Disability claims, representing long-term disability insurers in defending claims.
