In addition to his M&A work, Mathieu advises lenders and borrowers across a broad spectrum of secured financing transactions, including the structuring and taking of security and, where necessary, the enforcement of creditor rights when borrowers are in default. He also counsels clients on commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.

Mathieu regularly advises on corporate governance and shareholder matters, including the drafting of shareholder agreements, managing shareholder relations, and representing clients in shareholder disputes. He also advises on securities law matters, including share offerings and related regulatory compliance.
