- Assisting in a multi-million dollar action in which a client’s former employees/shareholders alleged their dismissal was orchestrated to deprive them of the anticipated future value of their shares.
- Assisting in insolvency proceedings in which a client successfully argued membership in a professional association is not “property” capable of passing to a trustee in bankruptcy upon insolvency.
- Assisting in insolvency proceedings in which the client successfully established that it had converted a debenture into an interest in certain mining properties and successfully restrained the proposed sale of such properties under the CCAA.
