Michiko Gartshore is an Associate in the Firm’s Employment & Labour, Professional Regulation and General Litigation groups advising clients on a wide range of workplace, regulatory, and civil disputes.

As an Indigenous lawyer with a strong foundation in business and finance, Michiko brings a unique perspective to every matter she handles. She maintains a wide-ranging practice, including human rights complaints, wrongful dismissal and employment disputes, and matters involving workplace discrimination, accommodation, and harassment.

Michiko regularly acts for regulatory bodies, investigations, and discipline proceedings, as well as licensing and registration issues. In addition to regulatory work, Michiko collaborates with clients to develop practical workplace policies and provide ongoing advice on emerging workplace issues.

Outside of her practice, Michiko is passionate about fostering inclusivity and diversity within her community.
