Mira is an associate in Stewart McKelvey’s Saint John office. She maintains a broad corporate and commercial practice with experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and reorganizations, and commercial agreements across a range of industries, including energy, maritime and transportation, and other commercial sectors.

Mira has assisted with a variety of transactional and advisory matters, including asset and share purchases, vessel acquisitions, financing-related work, corporate reorganizations, and ongoing regulatory and commercial compliance matters.

She takes a practical, client-centered approach to her work, with a focus on understanding each client’s business and delivering clear, useful advice that supports their needs and objectives.

Representative experience includes:

• Assisted with a significant asset purchase from initial due diligence through to closing, including drafting ancillary transaction documents.
• Supported a share purchase transaction, including conducting due diligence and preparing closing documentation.
• Assisted with a vessel acquisition, including coordination with lenders and opposing counsel and preparation of closing materials.
• Assisted in reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements in advance of potential acquisition discussions.
• Supported clients with ongoing regulatory compliance obligations across a range of matters.
• Assisted in advising a client in connection with an ongoing shareholder dispute.
