Gabriela’s legal practice centers on corporate and business law, wills and estates, and real property. Her practice focuses on helping clients set up and structure corporations and estates in a way that supports their business goals, family needs and legacies, and long-term plans.

Attentive to both the legal and human side of every matter, Gabriela is known for her collaborative, thoughtful approach, and her ability to build strong, trusted relationships. She believes effective legal advice is grounded in trust, collaboration, and stakeholder alignment, resulting in practical solutions clients can confidently act on.

Gabriela began her career as an information technology auditor with a big four accounting firm, where she worked with a variety of medium to large size corporations across the country and the US. The high pace environment of the big four allowed Gabriela to develop strong communication and time-management skills. In 2015, she left her position to study law in England a goal of hers for many years. While studying law, she competed in the Canadian Law Moot, where she was awarded the Best Mooter in the 2015/2016 competition, which truly solidified her skills for advocacy. In 2018, Gabriela joined EY Law where she completed her articles in business immigration law and was called to the Ontario bar in June 2019.

Gabriela gives back to her alma mater by contributing her legal expertise to alumni initiatives. In 2023, she collaborated with fellow graduates at the request of the Telfer School of Management to develop a new alumni association charter now in effect. She also serves on the Board of the Telfer Alumni Association as Co-Chair of the Experiential Training Committee, supporting initiatives that provide students with real-world, hands-on experience in their field of study.
