Sean Seviour named President of The Canadian Bar Association, Prince Edward Island Branch

We are pleased to share that Charlottetown Associate Sean Seviour has been named President of the Canadian Bar Association, Prince Edward Island Branch for the 2025–2026 term.

Sean maintains a litigation-focused practice serving the diverse needs of individual and institutional clients, including defending medical malpractice claims on behalf of professional associations, representing parties before administrative tribunals in liability and disciplinary matters, and navigating complex multi-party litigation involving personal injury, insurance, and professional negligence.

An active member of the CBA – PEI Branch for several years, Sean has previously served as Young Lawyers Chair, Member at Large, and as part of the Executive. He also contributes to his community as President of Basketball PEI. In 2025, he was recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
