Richard Niedermayer, TEP, discusses incapacity planning with Advisor’s Edge

Halifax partner Richard Niedermayer, TEP, was interviewed for Michelle Shriver’s recent article Creative Planning for Incapacity, featured in the latest issue of Advisor’s Edge. Within this piece, Richard is one of a handful of industry leaders who outline the tips and best practices for incapacity planning. He notes the importance of a Power of Attorney in the general estate plan, and advises individuals to discuss potential statutory limitations as well as beneficiary designations to ensure there is no confusion in the future.
