Curtis Doyle, Articled Clerk in our Charlottetown office, selected as a 2021 law clerk for the Supreme Court of Canada
We would like to congratulate our Charlottetown office Articled Clerk, Curtis Doyle, on being selected as a law clerk for the Supreme Court of Canada. In the summer of 2021, Curtis will be heading to Ottawa following his graduation from the University of New Brunswick, where he will be clerking for the Honourable Justice Moldaver. Curtis will be a member of a four-person clerkship team who will provide legal support to Justice Moldaver.
The application process is exhaustive, and evaluates candidates based on academic excellence, letters of recommendation, ability to work as part of a team, and effective interpersonal skills, among other criteria. There are only 36 law clerk positions available to support the 9 Judges of the Supreme Court of Canada, with the top students being selected. The period of employment is one year.
